2010 Drilling Program
CATALYST IS CURRENTLY DRILLING AT LA VERDE
Catalyst announced a US$4 million exploration program on the La Verde project, Michoacán State, Mexico. The program includes a minimum of 10,000 meters of diamond drilling and 50 line kilometers of geophysics.
There are three principal objectives of the 2010 exploration program:
- To expand the IP coverage into areas covered by gravel deposits to identify additional anomalies.
- Drill extensions to the known mineralization in order to target the size potential of the porphyry system.
- Confirmatory drilling over the known mineralization to develop a N.I. 43-101 compliant resource.
Management is optimistic the program will confirm and expand the known resource as well as provide an opportunity for additional discovery.
Induced Polarization (IP): A geophysical company was contracted to complete an IP survey by the end of March (this has been completed). The IP program is returning encouraging results from a zone in the eastern portion of the property and as a result this survey has been expanded to provide additional coverage over this new exploration target.
The yellow lines that follow the property block boundaries are the current IP lines.

Drilling: Catalyst is currently drilling on the property and expects results to come in batches throughout the remainder of 2010. The drill program at La Verde is currently in two phases:
Phase 1: Approximately 6,000 meters of confirmation drilling, block model creation, mineral resource estimation and the generation of a technical report.
Phase 2: Approximately 10,000 meters drilling for definition of the known zones and step-out drilling to test numerous geophysical and geochemical anomalies immediately adjacent to the La Verde zones.

Access Rights:
Surface access was the only obstacle to the start-up of exploration activities on the property. Catalyst signed a surface access agreement between the communal landowners (Ejido) of El Huaco and Minera Hill 29 (a wholly owned subsidiary of Catalyst). The agreement gives Minera Hill 29 unencumbered surface access for a period of four (4) years to the communal lands owned by the people of El Huaco for exploration purposes. The agreement allows the Company to carry out of all exploration activities including, but not limited to, diamond drilling and geophysical surveys. The common ground covers most of the known copper porphyry mineralization located on Minera Hill 29’s La Verde property situated in Michoacán State, Mexico.
Terry Hodson, VP Exploration stated “We believe the terms of the access agreement are fair to all stakeholders and will form the basis for mutual cooperation with the local community for the development of the project to the benefit of the Company, the local communities and other stakeholders”.
